Profile: Ph.D. in management, postdoctoral in economics, director of the Editorial Department of "Economic Management" magazine (deputy editor, president) and fourth Vice President of China Enterprise Management Research Association. His studies focus on business management (especially human resources management direction) and regional economy (focusing on human factors research). In 1997, he was appointed as a deputy editor, in 2002 rated as an associate researcher, and in 2008 named a researcher.

Profile: Dean, professor and doctoral supervisor in the School of Management Science and Engineering, Dongbei University of Finance and Economics; chair professor of Yangtze River Scholars, winner of National Outstanding Young Scientists Fund, member of the 6th State Council Subject Appraisal Group (Control Science and Engineering), project leader of the Innovation Study Group of National Natural Science Foundation. He used to be deputy director of the State Key Laboratory of Integrated Automation of Process Industry at Northeastern University, director of the Institute of Systems Engineering, member of the expert assessment team in the disciplines of Automation and Management Science and Engineering under the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and deputy director of the Logistics Systems Engineering Committee of the China System Engineering Society. In 1999, he received his Ph.D. From 1998 to 2002, he conducted academic cooperation research and visits at the City University of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Akita Prefectural University of Japan, and Pohang University of Technology in Korea. He was elected into the lists of “Top Ten Outstanding Young Intellectuals in Shenyang” in 2003 and selected into the Outstanding Young Teacher Financial Assistance Scheme of the Ministry of Education in 2002 and the New Century Excellent Talent Support Program of the Ministry of Education in 2004. He won the National Outstanding Young Scientist Award in 2006 and was appointed as the distinguished professor of the Yangtze River Scholar Award Program of the Ministry of Education in 2009. In 2007, his leading research team was elected to the innovative research groups of National Natural Science Foundation of China.

He successively presided over several projects, such as the National Outstanding Young Scientists Fund, the National Innovation Research Group Science Fund, major international cooperation projects, general projects, youth funds, and key scientific research projects at the provincial and ministerial-level, among which the National Natural Science Foundation project that he was responsible was awarded "Extra Superior" and Outstanding. The results were put into the "2005 Annual Report of the National Natural Science Foundation of China".

He received a Ph.D. from the Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research revolves around organizational behavior and human resource management. Its contents include organizational learning and human resources development, leadership, competency model, personnel evaluation and selection, evaluation center technology, salary satisfaction, strategic human resource management, management research methods.

He received a PhD in New York University and has conducted some research in international economics, financial markets, environmental economics and energy economics. He published New Chinese Economy in 2012.

Profile: From 1994 to 1996, he was a market analyst in the Shanghai Jinpeng Futures Brokerage Company. In 2009, he was appointed as a lifetime associate professor in the Department of Marketing, Oklahoma State University.  

His research interests are brand alliance and brand extension, cross-cultural consumer research, advertising, influence of emotions on decision-making, etc.

Profile: Doctor of Economics; professor, doctoral supervisor, director of the Department of Finance of Beijing Normal University; director of Capital Operation and Assets Evaluation Research Center, head of Assets Evaluation Discipline Construction of the Ministry of Finance, director of China World Economics Association, evaluation expert of National Society Science Fund and National Natural Science Fund. In 1987, he received a bachelor of engineering degree from Northern Jiaotong University, a master's degree in economics from the Institute of Economics at Nankai University in 1990, and a doctor of economics from the Institute of Economics at Nankai University in 2002. He had worked in the securities industry for a long time and successively served as the general manager of the business department of Everbright Securities, the head of the asset management department, the deputy general manager of the investment banking department, and the vice president of Guohai Securities, etc. In 2003, he went to the Department of Economics and Business Administration of Beijing Normal University to teach and do scientific research. In 2005, he served as a doctoral tutor. His major research areas include comparative financial systems, corporate finance theory and policies, asset pricing and corporate valuation, and venture capital investment, private equity investment, etc. In recent years, he has presided over some general, key and major projects of the National Social Science Fund and a number of national, provincial, and ministerial level projects in the Humanities and Social Sciences of the Ministry of Education, the Beijing Philosophical and Social Science Program and the Ministry of Finance. He has published 12 monographs and textbooks and issued a number of articles in academic journals, such as World Management, World Economy, Statistical Research, Quantitative Economic and Technological Research, International Finance Research, Economics Dynamics, and Finance and Trade Economics.

8.Speaker: Zhang Han

Position: Director of the Institute of Information Technology Management

Title: Professor

Profile: He was born in Kaifeng City, Henan Province of China. In 1993, he received a Bachelor’s degree from Peking University, a Master’s degree from Peking University in 1993 and a doctoral degree in management information systems from University of Texas at Austin, in 2000. While studying at the University of Texas at Austin, Dr. Zhang was taught by Professor Andrew B. Whinston, a world-renowned e-commerce guru.

His academic research is revolving around e-commerce and information technology economics. Recently he has focused on online issues related to trust and reputation, such as online payment methods, online services, and the evolution of electronic markets.

Several books and review articles have been published and many academic papers have been issued in academic journals like Information Systems Research, Journal of Management Information Systems, Decision Support Systems, and Electronic Markets and so on. Dr. Zhang Zhang is currently the Lifelong Associate Professor at the School of Management of the Georgia Institute of Technology and the director of the Information Technology Management Department. In the meantime, he is a visiting researcher of the noted e-commerce research center of the school and a distinguished executive director of the Electronic Commerce Professional Committee of the China Information Economics Association.

Profile: Doctor of Hong Kong City University, professor and doctoral advisor of Xi'an Jiaotong University and evaluation expert of the National Natural Science Foundation of China.He mainly studies China's marketing channel behavior, marketing strategy, China's relationship marketing, and China's retail industry and competition strategies of retail companies. In 1984, he received a Bachelor’s degree in business economics from Shaanxi Finance and Economics College, a Master’s degree in Economics (Marketing Direction) from Shaanxi Finance and Economics Institute in 1989 and a doctoral degree in marketing studies from City University of Hong Kong in 2001. In 1994, he went to Manchester Business School of UK as an intermediate visiting scholar. In 2002, he was appointed as a professor in Xi'an Jiaotong University. In 2006, he was selected into the “New Century Excellent Talent Support Program” of the Ministry of Education. He has published more than 60 papers, created more than 20 monographs such as Research on the Marketing Channel of Chinese Enterprises.
